RYPOS Inc. Appointed as Exclusive North American Distributor for the CARB Verified Proventia Flow Through Filter for Transport Refrigeration Units
Holliston, MA (PRWEB) July 8, 2008 -- RYPOS, Inc., developer and distributor of advanced, exhaust filtration systems that reduce harmful emissions from diesel engines, has been appointed by Proventia, an exhaust filtration manufacturer in Finland, as their exclusive North American distributor for the Proventia Flow Through Filter(FTF). This unique, new product is California Air Resources Board (CARB) verified to Low Emission(LE) standards for Thermo King Transport Refrigeration Units(TRUs). The Level 2 Plus CARB Verification states that during extensive tests, the filter reduced particulate matter by 50 percent or more on transport refrigeration units utilizing Yanmar and Isuzu diesel engines.
The Proventia FTF is a solid state filter that traps and burns soot reducing particulate matter emissions by more than 50 percent. Designed for ease of installation, this new product provides owners of model year 2002 and older transport refrigeration units a low cost option for making their TRUs CARB compliant. Following and extensive field test program with several large fleet operators, the Proventia FTF was granted approval under Executive Order DE-08-001 (http://www.arb.ca.gov/diesel/verdev/level2/eo_de08_001.pdf).
