ZOOZOOM Launches Google Map of New York Fashion Week

New York NY(PRWeb) January 31, 2007 -- New York Fashion Week is fast approaching (February 1 - 9). We'll see plenty of surprises on the runway but there is one thing we can be sure of: every single fashion show will start late.

Now with the help of the New York Interactive Fashion Week Map (http://www.zoozoom.com/fashion_week_map/) everyone has the same opportunity to be fashionably late. The easy to use google map mash-up brings together a New York Street Map and/or satellite image with ZOOZOOM's own fashion show tags. The fashionistas can zoom in to a show location, get directions to and from each show and they can even get the start times and the show details. The reason for fashion's tardiness is simple: thousands of members of the international fashion press, fashion buyers from the four corners of the globe and a slew of models from continents far removed are all trying to navigate New York's concrete canyons to get to their next venue. Fashion Show Map Trivia

The most northerly show this year is Barbara Tfank at The Carlisle Hotel on 76th Street. The only event off Manhattan is Elisa Jimenez. Z Zegna is the most southerly show (at the Cunard Building near Bowling Green), but Mao PR's party is the most southerly event with its party at Broad Street Ballroom. ZOOZOOM has received calls from as far away as Australia and the UK to update its map.
